Prawn Mee, Street Food, Non-Halal
Hubby said long time we didn’t eat at Soon Lee Prawn Mee along Jalan Ipoh. So without hesitation, we went! This Prawn Mee stall is nothing new but an iconic. Even Hong Kong famous actors and actresses have visited and eaten here. You will see all the photos taken being displayed by the stall.
The broth is so flavourful, and adding in the sambal will give it more umphness. The mini prawns that were halved, the thinly sliced lean meat, eggs, and fried onions, completes this bowl of Prawn Mee selling @ RM9/bowl now. The portion of every ingredient is just nice. No more and no less. Without knowing, you would have drank all the broth without leaving a drop. Haha. That’s how yummilicious it is.

They do sell char kuey teow as well. I have not tried it yet. Will leave it for my next visit. The next food you need to order when u come here is the Air Batu Campur (ABC) selling at RM4/bowl. Especially on a hot day like this. This ABC has nothing special, but the simplicity of it complements the flavourful Prawn Mee.
It was an extremely sinful dinner for me at Soon Lee Prawn Mee. I will require dieting the next few days.
