Chiefeater Khoo Li Li had several dishes at Restoran Mama Lee SS2, finding the dishes good despite slow service

Taiwanese, Fried Chicken Chop, Non-Halal
Taiwanese House Puchong is a new addition to the food scene in Pusat Bandar Puchong, focusing on Taiwanese cuisine. On my visit, I opted for the noodle with fried chicken chop. While the noodles were a bit too soft for my liking, which is typical of Taiwanese noodles, the fried chicken chop was outstanding. The chicken was tender, flavourful, and cooked to perfection.
Taiwanese cuisine is known for its diverse and flavourful dishes, often characterized by a combination of sweet, savoury, and umami tastes. One of the highlights of Taiwanese street food culture is fried chicken. Taiwan has a particular fondness for fried chicken, with variations like the famous XXL fried chicken cutlets and popcorn chicken found in night markets across the country. These are typically marinated in a blend of spices and fried to a golden crisp, offering a satisfying crunch and juicy interior.

Given how much I enjoyed the fried chicken chop, I think next time I might skip the noodles and just order the fried chicken, which is reasonably priced at RM13.90. Taiwanese House Puchong is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to explore authentic Taiwanese flavors, especially their excellent fried chicken.
