Chamoon Hot Pot is Fancy
Hot Pot, Non-Halal
Chiefeater Luke Soon ranks the hotpot at Chamoon Hot Pot as one of the fanciest he has ever had in Singapore

Egg Tarts, Chicken Floss Buns, Non-Halal
Being a sucker for egg tarts, and after seeing a post of by a fellow foodie, I went to try out Tak Kei at Chinatown Market.

The egg tart, chicken floss buns and Ho Kar Sai aka Tiger Bites Lion drink (traditional brewed coffee and milo. Rumoured to have originated from Taiping, Perak) were delicious. The baker and owner was also a very friendly bloke. Everything is baked fresh daily and that beverage is filling and the iced version is thirst quenching.

This will be one of my regular stop for break when wondering around taking pics in the Chinatown area.

Tak Kei Bakery is not found on Google Maps. The point we have included here is the entrance to Alamanda Hotel which is the closest point to it. DO NOT enter into Alamanda Hotel to look for the bakery. The only signage they have is their chinese name.
