Thai, Pork-Free
At Thai Forest. food hunt for thai food since i love thai food. i saw someone posted about this new thai restaurant which is within my territory, so gotta go and try.
thai forrest tomyam restaurant, which had its soft opening on 27 oct 2024.
when i stepped in this afternoon, it looks to me like i had been there before - same setting. then i realised last time it was 'the forest heritage' restaurant and now is taken over by a new owner.
i ordered the seafood spicy tomyam noodle bowl which is at RM20.90. with a few sotong (squid) and two big prawns. brought in a big tray and you notice with fork and spoon. aduh! why? think they thought i'm not a chinese, so don't know how to use chopstick. well i quickly ask for chopstick. i never ever like to eat noodles with fork.
the prawns are quite big and are fresh and tasted nice. tomyam broth was good too. although not reddish colour but kind of yellowish colour but can fee the tomyam taste and oh it is spicy! love it then.
