As we walk in to Thai Kong Kopitiam, the ambiance and environment was nice and the service was prompt. Browsing through the menu, we noted that it was of Thai and HK fusion. I opted for the Pork Rib curry with a set of drink (Ice Lemon Tea) and dessert (Red Bean Tong Sui with Tong Yin). Wifey went for the soup noodles with braise pork and salted Kumpuat (Assam Boi). As our order exceeded RM50, we added a plate of fried Wantan for RM0.99.
My Pork Rib curry was nicely marinated with the Thai spices and flavourful. The tender noodles blended with well with the curry.
The soup noodles was bland and braised pork had its fair share of fats. The side dish of spicy ginger gave it a little more taste.
The Fried Wantan was served hot and so so only.
However the dessert was really nice and delicious. not too sweet and decent to the taste buds.
