Nam Hing Loong Restaurant Dinner
Chinese, Non-Halal
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater Julian Mok and his family stopped at Nam Hing Loong Restaurant in Temoh for a dinner before heading to Ipoh
Vietnamese, Pho, Non-Halal
Down-to-earth Vietnamese spot with woodsy decor offering noodle soup, plus bahn mi & spring rolls. We went to another local Viet, The Pho 2, for a piping bowl of pho.
I got the beef stew pho (other options include brisket and flank), and the usual chicken and pork. No regrets. The broth was flavourful and slurping down hot noodles is def a feel good winter warmer.
The spring rolls was surprisingly good - crispy and all that yes, but with mushroom bits to make the flavours pop. Recommended
Overall, The Pho2 is a dependable 6/10 if you’d like to pop in for a quick piping hot bowl of goodness. Total damage USD69 (SGD92) for 4 pax , 4 mains and starter.
