Dinner at Pik Wah Restaurant with several friends was revelatory about the quality of food that they serve
Japanese, Ramen, Non-Halal
Visiting Notting Hill, we decided to stop for lunch. Kids wanted something soupy as it was (as usual) a chilly day and promptly googled and found this small eatery. By the way, most restaurants in the UK are small lots, probably accommodating no more than 25 diners. We were early (phew!) hence there was enough spots for all of us at Tonkotsu Notting Hill. We sat at the 'bar' bench, facing the kitchen and people preparing our lunch.
The hot bowl of ramen was a real treat, not to mention how delicious each variant was! The soup felt like it had enough hours of brewing and the taste was creamy and tasty. We finished it quickly and when we left the place, we were totally satisfied.
In terms of the price, I would put it as reasonable in Notting Hill, considering that it is a tourist location. We were just happy to find the place, so give a go if you are in this area.
