We love the cafes around Sin Chew Kee and went hoping for lunch at Hoi Fan today. It’s been a couple of months & we found it had closed down – so we wound up next door at the new Angtara Bukit Bintang that just began operations earlier in March 2025.
Food was quite good & prices were fair, but survival in this strip takes far more customer engagement. Quite a few people stopped by to look at the menu outside, but none of the staff bothered to come out. Expectedly, most people just walked away.
