Pork Chop, Non-Halal
Had a quick lunch in town at Tsui Wah The Cathay. I don’t usually eat HK food outside of HK but we were hankering for some comfort food. Was pleasantly surprised with this promotional dish; pork chop in scallion sauce + 3 sunny side ups. Epic.
Then paired with HK soya sauce drizzled on top of the eggs. The chop was a little tough , but overall when put together as a dish it was a solid 7/10.
They figured out we love scallion sauce (usually condiment for soya sauce chicken- the perennial favourite)- but works well with pork chops too! Not sure if this dish will make it their main menu; but it’s good enough to headline their franchise for thjs season at least.
