Nasi Lemak
The Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang from Unique 88 Kopitiam was a solid and enjoyable meal. I had it to go and brought it home. The rice was competent.

The true highlight of the plate was the Ayam Rendang. The meat was impressively tender and the chicken itself tasted fresh. The rendang sauce was well-seasoned and tasty, making it the defining element of the meal.

Following my recent positive experience with their Char Kuey Teow, this visit further cements this kopitiam as a reliable makan spot at Pusat Bandar Puchong.
Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang: RM11.00
Score: 7.33/10
M – Meal Value
The quality of the ayam rendang, particularly the tenderness of the meat and the freshness of the chicken, provides high value for a standard kopitiam meal. It offers a satisfying and affordable lunch option that doesn’t compromise on ingredient quality.
Score: 7.5/10
V – Venue & Vibes
Restoran Unique 88 maintains its status as a bright, clean, and welcoming local kopitiam though it’s not ideal on a hot day.
Score: 6.5/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor is the Ayam Rendang. Tender and maintaining the freshness of the poultry.
Score: 8.0/10
