Chinese, Non-Halal
Celebrating mother’s 85th Birthday yesterday at Village Food Recipe 乡田小食館. We ordered 8 dishes to feed our 15 mouths.
1) Yam rings
Good flavour especially the yam ring.. texture was good and the taste of the veggies just nice. It surrounded with fried Tang Hun. I don’t know weather supposed to eat that, but we finished it all too . Downside is no sauce to go with the Tang Hun so it feel a bit oily. Luckily the second dish sauce accommodate it. Just nice
2) Scallion Chicken
Interesting dish. On top of the chicken, full with scallion. Chicken was perfectly steam and it mix will with the scallion sauce, although the sauce itself was a bit salty
3) Indonesian prawn
Another interesting dish. It’s came along with the man tou. Good flavour of the curry. Not spicy our elderly family members also can enjoy.
4) Scallop with bamboo shoots
Nice dish with nice flavour. Bamboo shoots cook with perfection.
5) Cabbage pork ribs
Another interesting dish. Other than pork rib. A lot of ingredients added. Just like 8 treasure.
Ribs easy to eat too.
6) Water chestnut fried crab meat with Glass Lettuce
This is the star of the night. Using fresh crabmeat and even pork lard are in the dish. Is the dish that cannot miss (need to preorder). Everyone of us love the dish very very much
7) Pumpkin rice
Yummy yummy yummy. Even though we are full, we still can finished all the rice. It came with the big pumpkin as the plate. Of course the pumpkin we ta pao back.
8) Birthday noodles
Great dish too. Taste are great, the broth are great, the ingredients are great.
What a fantastic dinner. We all enjoyed it very much. Definitely a memorable dinner. Thank you very much for the incredible dishes.
