Yam Cake, Rice Cake, Street Food, Non-Halal
Was looking to try out the famous nasi lemak shop at Peel Road but saw this Yam Cake Stall on Peel Road instead. This lady was selling yam cake and sticky rice. She said she maintains the taste like she had when she was a little girl and has being making and selling it for many years. She highly recommended me to try their rice cake as she mentioned that it is very famous. She offered to mix yam and sticky rice as one portion since I don’t want to have too much.
While the rice cake is moist and of refine taste the highlight for me is her yam cake, perhaps the best I have eaten as far as I can remember. Soft and flavourfully yummy which taste indeed brought back childhood memories. She enjoyed good stream of customers crowd around for their orders. Would love to come back again.
All her products are price very reasonable too.
