Nanyang Style, Mee Siam
My first delivery order from Yi Kopitiam provided a stark contrast in quality. The Otak Otak Bun was unfortunately a letdown; I expected a spicy kick, but it was neither spicy nor particularly tasty.

However, the Mee Siam with Rempah Pork was quite good. The pork was flavorful, and the mee siam had a pleasant tanginess, though the absence of julienned egg was a bit strange. Despite the missing egg, the seasoning of the pork made it the standout of the meal.

Mee Siam Pork Berempah: RM22.90
Otak Bun (2 pcs): RM14.90
Total (after discounts): M30.80
Score: 7.7/10
M – Meal Value
With the “Hot Deals” discount, the final price was reasonable, though the Otak Bun felt overpriced for its lack of flavour.
Score: 7.0/10
V – Vroomness of Delivery
The delivery speed was excellent, with the rider arriving 5 minutes ahead of schedule. The food was well-contained and arrived in good condition, looking fresh and undisturbed in its packaging.
Score: 8.5/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor is the seasoning of the Rempah Pork. Its savory, spiced depth elevated the tangy mee siam base into a very satisfying meal.
Score: 7.5/10
