Wantan Mee, Non-Halal
I decided to order a set from Yi Poh, intrigued by their offerings of flat noodles, char siew, wantan, fried sui kow, a large bowl of soup, and a large cup of herbal tea. The entire meal, including delivery, came to RM22, which struck me as a good deal considering the quantity. The noodles, soup, and herbal tea servings were generous enough for two meals, at least for me.
Starting with the flat noodles, I found them slightly on the sweet side, which didn’t quite match my preference. The char siew, unfortunately, was too lean for my liking. I prefer a bit of fat to balance out the texture and add more richness to the meat. The fried sui kow, while having a decent taste, was a bit too thin to provide a satisfying bite.

Wantan

However, the soup was the star of the meal. It had a wonderful peppery flavor that really stood out and added depth to the overall dining experience. The herbal tea was refreshing and paired well with the meal, but it was the soup that truly elevated the set.
At RM22, it’s a good value, especially considering the portion size.
