Chiefeater VK reviewed a food delivery order from Thai Bites Bandar Puteri Puchong, discovering a fiery meal highlighted by a delicious clam

Chicken Chop, Curry Mee, Non-Halal
Q House Puchong recent opening in Puchong Jaya has taken the local dining scene by storm, as evidenced by the bustling crowd that forms a queue throughout lunch time. Eager anticipation led us to a brief but well-managed 10-minute wait before securing a table, a testament to the organized efficiency that permeates the establishment despite the throng.
Once seated, we promptly placed our orders and were pleasantly surprised by the swift service, with our dishes making their way to our table within a commendable 15 minutes. The space inside is spacious and each table has a comfortable distance from the other.
Jen’s choice, the Spicy Chicken Curry Mee (RM13.90+), featured a thick and robust broth that was flavourful and not spicy despite its name. Though the yellow noodles leaned towards the softer side, the fishballs proved to be a delightful highlight, though I am not if it was enough to compensate for the noodles. Her Iced Lemon Tea (RM7.90+) was a good complement to her curry noodles.

My selection, the Black Pepper Chicken Chop (RM19.90+), did not disappoint either. Despite being fried and perhaps a bit thin, the chicken retained its tender quality. The batter, though not flawlessly golden, maintained its crisp texture and provided a delightful crunch. What I liked best was the black pepper sauce. It packed a spicy punch that tantalized the taste buds in all the right ways. I didn’t care much for the broccoli or the corn that came with the dish. I would steer clear of their local coffee (RM5.20+) as I found the it to be weak and lacked depth or aroma. I did not finish my cup.

To round off the meal, we delved into the sweet potato ball with peanut, a simple yet satisfying snack. While not particularly extravagant, the concoction was enjoyable and provided a pleasant closing note to our dining experience.

The majority of the diners at Q House Puchong ordered their Chinese dishes. Those would be their signature items. Given their efficient service and good food at acceptable prices, I can understand why they pack it in.

The Google Maps link will say Geoventure IOI Boulevard. That’s because Q House now occupies the exact unit where Geoventure was. They are currently so new, they don’t have their own Google Maps point yet.
