Curry Puff, Non-Halal

Uncle Chong Local Delights Bukit Jalil serves a curry mee with a legacy of 50 years, this heritage dish brings me back to my student days. Back when I often changed buses at Taman Connaught, I would look for good food around, and curry mee was one of the street foods I frequently enjoyed.
Their first shop is in Bukit Jalil, and now they have a total of three branches. I ordered a great value combo with a beverage, two eggs (cooked as you like), and four slices of Kaya butter toast, all for just RM7.50!
I also decided to try a small portion of their signature curry mee, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was filled with an abundance of noodles and ingredients, including cockles, tender chicken, long beans, angled gourd, and tofu puffs that had absorbed the flavorful curry broth. Before diving in, I added some cuttlefish ink and drizzled their special sambal (Malaysian chili paste) to make the whole bowl of curry mee even more delicious. This dish truly reminds me of the nostalgic flavors I love.
