Satay, Pork-Free
Sate Carjunk has been a reliable go-to when I need a satay fix. Recently, we indulged in a home delivery from this local gem, savouring their signature Chicken and Beef Satay. BTW, don’t you just love the play of words with their name?
Their Chicken Satay remains a consistent delight. The tender meat, infused with a rich blend of spices, offers a burst of flavour in every bite. Grilled to perfection, the satay retains its succulence, creating a sizzling sensation that elevates the dining experience.

In an unexpected twist, the Beef Satay emerged as a star of the meal. The beef, surprisingly tender and was devoid of chewiness. Previously I usually shun their beef because of the toughness.

A minor hiccup from Sate Carjunk in an otherwise stellar experience was the absence of onions among the offered condiments. It appears that onions have become a rare commodity in the satay condiment landscape. We had to top it up with our own. Despite this, the satay’s intrinsic flavours more than compensated for this oversight.
