How Ji Roaster Rice Noodles Roast Duck
Roast Duck, Street Food

Chiefeater Albert Wong was at How Ji Roaster Rice Noodles in Pulau Tikus to enjoy a plate of roast duck rice

Cantonese, Noodles, Fine Dining
The lobster noodles is a special off menu cooking style at Imperial Treasure Cantonese Cuisine - not sure how to translate ‘kook’ in Cantonese. Steam? Pressure cooking? Very delicious and authentic seafood flavours seeping into the yee meen recommended by the chef
It’s like the lobster went for a sauna and the noodles were drizzled in its ‘sweat’. Super umami, full spectrum of sea flavours. Simplicity is elegance when the ingredients are this fresh. 1kg Australian lobster - total damage SGD350 for 3pax.

We also ordered the usual yangzhou fried rice and claypot double boiled soup of the day (green carrot). It’s quite hard to fault imperial treasure when it comes to Cantonese refined dining.
