Chinese, Seafood, Pork-Free
I was invited to a dinner at Delay No More in IOI Mall Damansara, a restaurant I had not been to before. With no expectations walking in, I was pleasantly surprised by what was served. The Chinese New Year set was generous, featuring a well-curated selection of dishes where each person at the table had their own favourite.

The RM1,688 CNY Set for 10 pax included:
- Jellyfish Yee Sang
- Shark Fin With Shredded Crab Meat Soup
- Scalding Live Tiger Prawn
- Steamed Tiger Garoupa With Superior Soya Sauce
- Hong Kong Style Crispy Skin Chicken
- Live Mud Crab x 2
- Braised Abalone With Fatt Choy and Dried Oyster + Veggie
- Truffle Seafood Fried Rice
- Lotus Seed Lily Bulb Soup
- Homemade Chinese New Year Rice Cake

The seafood was fresh, with the tiger garoupa standing out—perfectly steamed, well-seasoned, and retaining a delicate, flaky texture.

The crab was a crowd favourite, especially with the generous amount of sauce provided for dipping with mantou (this was an add-on).

For me, the real highlight was the Hong Kong-style crispy skin chicken. The skin was crisp, yet the meat inside remained tender and juicy, making for an exceptionally satisfying dish.

The Braised Abalone was filled with generous filling of goodies.

The Truffle Fried Rice was really aromatic. I could not help but eat more than one serving.

Given that the restaurant was packed for the festive season, I was impressed that they managed to maintain their quality while serving such an extensive set menu. Kudos to Delay No More for delivering a well-executed feast in a bustling setting.
