Chinese, Non-Halal
Tucked away in PJ Old Town, Restoran Garden Seafood continues to serve satisfying, big-flavoured Chinese meals at decent value — especially if you’re sharing. We ordered three dishes for dinner, and the portions were unexpectedly generous.
The highlight was the Cantonese Fried Ying Yang Noodles (RM28) — a mountain of crispy rice noodles and flat hor fun drenched in silky egg gravy. With prawns, pork slices, and plenty of greens, it was packed with both flavour and texture. The portion, meant for two, could easily feed three hungry diners.

Next came the Stir-Fried Dragon Vegetables (RM20) — simply done but executed well. The veggie was fresh and crunchy, stir-fried with garlic that didn’t overpower the natural flavour of the greens.

The Marmite Pork Ribs (RM22) were equally delightful. They arrived hot with a sticky, savoury-sweet glaze and a beautiful aroma. The pork was tender with a slight crisp on the edges — perfect as a snack with beer.

Add in a bottle of Heineken, and the total bill came to RM101 — not bad at all for three substantial dishes and drinks in a clean, comfortable setting.
The only thing to take note of is that while they have blowers to cool down the temperature, it is still a hot place to dine even during dinner.
