Cantonese Fried, Street Food
Dinner at I Love Hokkien Mee Puchong Jaya showcased a well-executed Cantonese Fried Yin Yong (Kung Fu Chau). The dish was tasty, with the noodles holding their flavour well under the silky egg gravy.

We also tried the Signature Fried Chicken Wings. These were very good while they were hot, maintaining a nice crunch and savoury seasoning; however, they did lose some of their oomph once they got cold.

The restaurant has clearly grown in popularity and has now expanded to occupy two lots. This expansion has resulted in a bright and clean dining environment that makes it a pleasant spot for a quick and satisfying meal in the Kenari area.
Cantonese Fried Yin Yong (S): RM13.90
Signature Fried Chicken Wings (2 sets): RM21.80
Total: RM53.20 (Including drinks with 6% Service Charge and 6% SST)
Average Spend: RM26.60 per pax
If I had not over ordered the chicken wings, it would have been under RM20 per pax.
Score: 7.5/10
M – Meal Value
The pricing remains competitive for the Bandar Puchong Jaya area, especially considering the portions and quality of the noodles and their investment in their space.
Score: 7.5/10
V – Venue & Vibes
The expansion into two lots has greatly improved the atmosphere. It is much brighter and cleaner than the typical crowded noodle shop, providing a more comfortable experience for groups or families.
Score: 7.5/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor is their Cantonese Fried Yin Yong, though their signature dish is their Hokkien Mee which I did not have this time. Many places struggle to serve it with a nice crispy fried meehoon but they get it right. And top it up with a delightful gravy.
