LeLe Wine Restaurant Pulled Pork Pasta

Pasta

Description

Post by Chiefeater VK

Dinner at LeLe Wine Restaurant turned out to be a mixed but mostly enjoyable affair. Jen and I started with the Lap Cheong Croquette and the Burrata, before moving on to the Pulled Pork Pasta together with their wine promotion for two glasses.

The Lap Cheong Croquette was an interesting starter, and one I did enjoy. The croquette had a crisp golden exterior, and the filling carried that pleasing lap cheong combination of savoury richness with a gentle sweetness.

The Burrata, however, was the strange one of the night. It somehow leaned sweetish, and even with a wedge of lime, we could not quite balance that sweetness away. It looked appealing enough, but the flavour profile did not quite come together for me.

The Pulled Pork Pasta was the best dish of the meal. The pasta was nicely al dente, and the savouriness of the sauce made it very enjoyable from the first few bites. It had the sort of comforting, full-flavoured character that makes it easy to keep going back for more.

We also tried their two-glasses-of-wine special, which came with a Sauvignon Blanc and a Cabernet Sauvignon. At RM55, it is a reasonable promotion for a wine bar setting, though both wines were light weight and did not leave much of an impression.

Overall, LeLe Wine Restaurant feels like a place with a pleasant, casual wine bar identity, and while not every plate landed equally well, the pasta was good enough to make the visit worthwhile.

MVX Summary

Score: 7.33/10

M – Meal Value
At RM182.60 for two, this is not exactly cheap for a casual dinner in Puchong, but the portioning and execution of the pasta help justify part of the bill. The wine deal is fair, though the wines themselves are not especially memorable.
Score: 7.0/10

V – Venue & Vibes
Le Le Wine Restaurant has a warm, relaxed wine bar atmosphere that feels easygoing rather than overly formal. It suits date nights and casual catch-ups well.
Score: 8.0/10

X – X-Factor
The X-factor here is the restaurant’s accessible wine bar concept paired with hearty, approachable food. The Pulled Pork Pasta stands out as the dish most worth returning for.
