Pizza, Spanish, Pork-Free
I took up the free item offer given by El Cero Tapas Y Vinos in exchange for a review of their food items. El Cero Tapas Y Vinos recently opened in March 2023. I felt like pizza today so I took up the Pepperoni Pizza (RM42+) offer. I also ordered two additional tapas. A Chuletas De Cordero (RM59+) and a Champinones Fritas (RM24+).
I liked the Chuletas De Cordero which is are grilled lamb cutlets topped with garlic mayonnaise. The portions are generous for tapas and the meat was flavourful. The meat was slightly on the tougher side but if you like your lamb with a bit of bite, this might be for you. Jen felt that the Champinones Fritas or fried mushrooms could use some extra flavour.

On to our main item which was the Pepperoni Pizza. You might be asking why I even ordered a pizza at Spanish restaurant? Because I like pizza. I like the flavours of the pizza. The aroma hit me as the pizza arrived. This may not have been wood fired pizza but it nevertheless had a good aroma when it arrived. I also had a glass of their house pouring Sauvignon Blanc and that complemented the pizza well.

I would like to have tried the paella but rice was not in my approved eating plan today. I hope another Chiefeater will be reviewing that soon.
