Test drove the Michelin rated Go La Fried Hokkien Noodles yesterday with a side of satay. It was full of fishcake of a nice quality, squid & prawns. While the wok hei was full-on while the cook was frying it, the flavour seemed rather mild to me. Still worth a try though... go la.

Go La History

Go La dates back to the early 1900s when it was first established as a small noodle stall by the grandparent of the current operator. 3 generations on, it continues to serve up some of the best food in Phuket. The menu is a mix of Chinese and Thai dishes, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and bold flavours.

The restaurant is commited to using traditional cooking methods and recipes that have been passed down through generations. The noodles are handmade on-site, and the sauces and broths are made from scratch using fresh ingredients and no preservatives.
