Satay, Street Food, Pork-Free
Mazlan Satay is the satay stall that operates at Restoran Sin Daima Hokkien Mee. Yes, I know the name is so long but that’s what they restaurant is famous for. But this review is about the satay.
While she has beef and chicken options, I only go for the chicken satay here. I find the beef satay chewy. The chicken satay however is another thing. The meat is tender and she has seasoned in well to ensure that it is a good blend of sweet and savouriness with a smoky aroma. Her peanut sauce has a nice bit of spice to complement the chicken satay meat.

All this to be had at RM1.10 per stick of satay with a minimum order of 10 stick at Mazlan Satay. Mazlan Satay only opens in the evening at about 6:30 pm and opens until she’s sold out for the night. It’s my is favourite satay stall not only because it’s convenient but because it’s also good.
Prices are nett and she only accepts cash.
