The 3rd branch of Ah Ma TeoChew Kuih Mount Austin opened on the 6th of July 2023. The new location features a modern yet nostalgic style, complete with a tricycle loaded with various homemade pastries that greets you as you walk in.

They offer a variety of main dishes including Teochew porridge, breakfast sandwiches, Nyonya curry prawn with coconut rice, Assam devil fish rice, braised chicken thigh rice, chicken kuey teow soup, fresh prawn and clam kuey teow stir-fry, Teochew fried fish cake noodle soup, and a vegetarian menu among others.

They open their doors as early as 7:30 AM, and their main highlight is, of course, their Teochew pastries. With over dozens of varieties to choose from, including Teochew rice cakes, yam rice cakes, red tortoise cake, mango cake, thousand-layer cake, tapioca cake, chives cake, yam cake, Malay cake, and more, there’s something for everyone. A friend invited me to come and enjoy these pastries together.
