Pork Tripe Noodles, Street Food, Non-Halal
Another food hunting day. Travelled via MRT from Sentul Barat to Kampung Batu, Kepong. We were planning to visit Keng Nam Hai Kopitiam but it was full! Instead we hopped over to Ancient City Coffee which is nearby. Not so crowded, but their food tasted decent and nice, too. My hubby found another favourite food of his here. At least he won't feel kena con by me.
Hubby ordered White Pepper Pork Tripe Soup Noodles @ RM11/bowl. Happy tummy = Happy man.
I ordered Fried Tung Fun extra spicy minus lap cheong, minus cockles @ RM8/plate.
My order came totally wrong, so I sent back for a replacement. It tasted good, but not spicy enough. Portion kinda small for me.
Tak cukup kenyang, so I ordered a set of Roti Bakar with kaya & butter, which I don't recommend.
Ordered a pack of Fried Kuey Teow for takeaway and ended up with Fried Tung Fun. Lazy to send back for replacement. I'm not sure how the miscommunication can happen when both (buyer & and seller) are of the same race.
Cham Ping is to our liking. Kopitiam environment is average and can be better. There is a corner selling fresh fruits, too. Can revisit again if my next trip to Keng Nam turns to be the same as today.
Get off at the KTM Kampung Batu or MRT Putrajaya Line Kampung Batu PY13 stations.
