上周末我和几位朋友相约来到吉隆坡市中心的 Atas at The RuMa Hotel,专程到他们的馆内餐厅 ATAS 尝试全新推出的现代马来单点菜单。ATAS 主打传统马来料理结合现代手法,是我们近期吃到最惊艳的一顿大马风味盛宴!
Last weekend, a few friends and I met up at Atas at The RuMa Hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur to try the newly launched modern Malay à la carte menu. ATAS specializes in traditional Malay cuisine with a modern twist, and it was one of the most amazing Malaysian-inspired feasts we've had in a while!

我们点了几道前菜开启味蕾:Umai(RM48)是一道清爽的马来风味刺身,Udang Galah Otak Otak(RM35)是带点微辣的大头虾乌达乌达,香气浓郁;Kerabu Kacang Botol(RM35)则是清新爽口的四角豆沙拉,酸辣平衡得恰到好处。
We ordered a few appetizers to whet our appetites: Umai (RM48), a refreshing Malay-style sashimi; Udang Galah Otak Otak (RM35), a fragrant and slightly spicy prawn otak; and Kerabu Kacang Botol (RM35), a refreshing and zesty bean salad with the perfect balance of sour and spicy.

主菜部分,我们大推 Chef Suhalmi 的招牌 Rendang Tok 牛肋仁当(RM98),炖得非常入味,酱汁浓郁带香料层次,是全场最受欢迎的一道。炒羊肋排黑胡椒(RM98)以砂拉越黑胡椒入味,辣中带香,完全停不了口。还尝了 Udang Galah Sambal 大头虾叁巴(RM98)、Penang Fish Curry 槟城咖喱鱼(RM88)和 Octopus Goreng Belada 香煎八爪鱼(RM78),每道菜都有自己独特的风味。
For main courses, we highly recommend Chef Suhalmi's signature Beef Rib Rendang Tok (RM98). It was perfectly braised in a rich, spiced sauce and was a real hit. The stir-fried lamb ribs with black pepper (RM98) were flavored with Sarawak black pepper, creating a spicy and fragrant dish that was irresistible. We also tried the Udang Galah Sambal (RM98), Penang Fish Curry (RM88), and Octopus Goreng Belada (RM78), each dish boasting its own unique flavor.

配菜我们点了娘惹杂菜 Nyonya Chap Chai(RM35)和 Coconut Telang Rice 蓝花椰浆饭(RM15),颜色美得像一幅画,味道也很温润。
For side dishes, we ordered the Nyonya Chap Chai (RM35) and Coconut Telang Rice (RM15), both of which were beautifully colored and flavorful.

压轴当然是甜点,我们直接点齐五款马来式融合甜品:Spice Delight(RM38)、Bubur Cha Cha Parfait(RM38)、Ais Sagat 现场刨冰(RM38)、Nangka Crème Brûlée 波罗蜜法式焦糖布丁(RM38)以及 Onde-Onde Ice Cream(RM35),每一道都像艺术品一样,精致又好吃,甜而不腻,是完美的结尾。
The finale was, of course, dessert. We ordered a selection of five Malay-fusion desserts: Spice Delight (RM38), Bubur Cha Cha Parfait (RM38), Ais Sagat (shaved ice) (RM38), Nangka Crème Brûlée (jackfruit crème brûlée) (RM38), and Onde-Onde Ice Cream (RM35). Each one was a work of art, exquisite and delicious, not overly sweet, a perfect ending.
