Grub search after class. Bee See Heong in Butterworth is tucked away in small lorong and thus we found this gem.

Home style choochar place. Food is prepared fresh upon order. Thus be patient. This is a Hainanese restaurant established in 1962. We saw most tables ordered prawn curry, believe to be their specialties too. Will come back and try other dishes.
House specialty, belacan chicken. Crispy and thinly coated balacan infused batter, moist and juicy meat, elevate the experience of Belacan Chicken. Chicken meat is fresh and definitely not the frozen type.

Black sauce (dark soy sauce) pork with hint of ginger and union. Best with steamed rice.

Long beans & prawns with sambal. We scrapped out every single drop of sauce into the rice.
