Pizza, Quesadilla, Pork-Free
It was the weekend and we ordered some take-away to have it delivered home. I could not find any good options for pizza that were available for delivery in Puchong, so I decided to extend my search to Subang and that’s how we came upon Big Brooklyn Pizza SS15.
The Google reviews showed the Chunky Pepperoni Pizza (RM54 for a 12” pie) had received some rave reviews. Intrigued by that, I decided to give it a try. However, while browsing through their menu, I also spotted a Spicy Birria Chicken Quesadilla (RM29.90), which sounded too good to resist, so I added that to my order as well.
When my food arrived, I couldn’t wait to dig in. I started with the chicken quesadilla, and boy, was it flavourful! The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the cheese was perfectly melted and gooey. The tortilla wrap for the quesadilla had not survived the trip well as it had gone soggy. Nevertheless, the taste was intact even if the texture had not.

Next up was the much-anticipated chunky pepperoni pizza. The pizza was generously topped with thick slices of pepperoni, and the combination of the savoury pepperoni and the gooey cheese was simply mouthwatering. The flavours were well-balanced and the chunky pieces of pepperoni definitely contributed to the enjoyment.

However, the star tonight was the quesadilla from Big Brooklyn Pizza SS15. It definitely exceeded my expectations and left me craving for more. I think I should have ordered the big serving instead.
