Chicken Rice, Non-Halal
Our lunch today at Boon Tong Kee Whampoa. Hubby shares his memory with us, his favourite lunch spot when he was working in SG 24 years ago.

Used to serve individual serving chicken rice. Now has changed to 叫菜吃饭 restaurant. Thankfully, they still serve hubby’s favourite, which is the layer of “jelly” underneath the chicken skin.

Deep Fried Bean Curd, crispy outside soft inside and serve with a sauce tasted like condensed milk + mayonnaise??

But it tasted better with the chili sauce + ginger paste.

The Sambal Kang Kong and Steamed 3 Assorted Egg tasted like homecooked.

Now, we are part of hubby’s working lunch memory
