Dave Pynt’s Burnt Ends Top50 doesn’t disappoint - staying true to their open fire heritage. This is my first time in their not so new spanking premise in Dempsey (yay, closer to me!) As you can imagine - Burnt Eds is a top seat in Singapore. They’re booked out for months, some say years (lamenting how difficult it is to get spots).
Today, several colleagues came with - and we sampled all the old faithfuls.
Everything here starts with a 7.5/10 - with the garlic leaves and leek hitting a 8.5/10 for me.
We initially wanted to go for the 69 days aged slab SGD580 per kg - but alas it takes 90 minutes to prepare ! Yes it’s a dance of naked flames in front of our very eyes but it was a lunch meeting after all. We unabashedly went for the striploin - since the server said it could be on our tables in 30-40mins flat. Pity, bcos while the striploin scorched in at 7.5/10 we imagined the 69 being able to touch the almost mythical 8.5/10
If you’re one for meats - do yourself a favour and book your slots today!
