Buffet
The Colony at The Ritz Carlton Singapore is an insanely popular spot for high-end buffets and the slots were limited even two months before. The noodles station is perhaps the next best for me – they always have the famous Colony laksa. And yes Chiefeater VK you can add your own scoops of fresh hums!

Today they featured a prawn noodle Penang style and a Hennessy XO fish head noodles. Tip top
7.5/10

The laksa is always 7/10
Overall, this is a consistent 7.5/10 buffet over the years. This is my go to buffet in Singapore. Judging by the shaking queues in front before opening hours it’s probably everyone’s as well.
There’s a local heritage section where they featured roasted meats like duck, roast pork and charsiew. Yes these are quite high quality at 7/10 consistently over the years. You can pair these meats with food from the other stations eg my hack is to add roast pork into my laksa and other soup noodles. You can add prawns, lobster and even hum in yours!

Even the usual cooked Indian and Chinese delicacies are top notch – baseline = 7/10
It’s SGD78 for lunch, should be a little pricier for dinner.
And I haven’t even talked about their dessert prowess.
