On CNY day 4, we had dinner at , in Ipoh Garden. We were told to order from the CNY menu, but don't need to buy the complete set. We ordered the yee sang, traditional fried prawns, wine braised drumsticks, and veggies in XO sauce. This is an established restaurant, so everything is ho chiak. Flavours of the dishes are all on point.
When I was a teenager, we used to come for weekend dinner here quite regularly. They now occupy 2 shop lots. Can go upstairs too. We like the pai kuat wong, the butter or cereal prawns and some other dishes. Please ask them to recommend their signature dishes to you.
2nd yee sang of the season
Traditional fried prawns
Wine braised drumsticks
Veggies in XO sauce
