Bak Kut Teh, Non-Halal
Saturday night dinner at Canning Garden Bak Kut Teh in Ipoh for 4 pax. They say they hail from Pandamaran Klang. We ordered bak kut teh for 3 pax, some giant fish balls, iceberg lettuce, yau zha kuai.
The bak kut teh came boiling hot and bubbling like a cauldron. It was delicious and tasted authentic. Not too herbal and not too watered down. Just nice. We only had the ribs and lean meat. The fish balls were bouncy and QQ, just as fish balls should be. The veggies were fresh and just right, not overcooked. The shop was quite full at 8pm and we had to wait a while for our food. The bill came to RM85.
We couldn't finish the last 2 huge ribs, so I brought home for my cats and they had a mini BKT feast.
