Lucky Loke SS3 Restaurant has been around for a long time. Their popularity has certainly grown over the years. Their famous dishes include the fried fish, pork belly with salted fish and claypot kangkong.
We ordered 2/3 giving the pork belly a miss this time. Instead, we got the vinegar pork trotters (which was the special of the day). We also ordered their sweet sour pork and yam basket to try.
The fish was ok, a little too dry for me. It sat on a bed of raw garlic. Definitely pungent kicks all round. 6/10

The 3 chicken cup was good at 7/10. Chicken on the dry side but full of umami.

The vinegar pork trotters ok at 6.5/10

The claypot kangkong was probably best at 6.5/10

The sweet sour pork ok at 6/10.

The yam basket at 6.5/10

The fried rice was just ok at 6/10. We had this last hoping it would be the clincher – but fell short of our expectations (at least for Malaysian fried rice

Overall, a pleasant dining experience on a breezy night, and we got talking with the family that runs the shop. Overall, Lucky Loke is not a Lucky 7, but a 6/10
