There is a close association of bliss with good food. You achieve that when the food looks good, smells good, tastes good, priced fair, the place is modern, cool and clean and the service is warm and friendly. Opened 5 months ago, everything is done right at Duan and I am coming back again for more of the succulent satay, fluffy steamed nasi briyani rice and tender rich super flavourful beef rendang and crispy crunchy delish cucur udang - Yummmzz!
Gerald the operations manager is warm and prompt and keeps u updated about your food orders. There is a crowd building up at the entrance waiting for a seat and we likened our experience as coming home to Penang with all d rich varieties of Penang's culinary delights under 1 roof.
Service hours are from 9am to 9.30pm, closed on Tuesday.
Nasi basmati with fried chicken
Nasi briyani with fried chicken
Nasi briyani beef rendang - one of my top favourites in their menu
Nasi lemak with prawn sambal - super good prawn sambal curry
Silky smooth soup for kai si hor fun (shredded chicken flat rice noodles)
Tofu goreng - simply delicious
Cucur udang - every bite has more prawn than batter. Love these prawn fritters
Fried garoupa fish steak with cucumber onion salad and 3 rasa (sweet sour hot) sauce on the side
The quintessential beef satay - yummiest most succulent satay in town! U'd want to get your teeth on these babes
Chicken satay - well marinated and succulent
Chicken porridge with steamed chicken - surprisingly excellent, satisfying and full of flavour
