Chicken Chop, Pork-Free
While walking around Bandar Puteri Puchong (again), I chanced upon Florida Western Cafe. Upon checking, I found out that they had only opened their doors for business in April 2023. A newbie to the food scene!
They had a Hainanese Chicken Chop dish, priced at just RM13.90. It was decently priced but once you add in a bottle of water (RM2.90), it would be RM16.80. The chicken chop was a smallish piece of meat but it was well seasoned. The meat was tender and flavourful. The sauce was a cross between a brown sauce and a tomato sauce, though it leaned towards the former.

It is a decent chicken chop offering. While they may laud their anti-inflation pricing, there are already better priced offering in Puchong. While you can pay with cash or credit card, there is no e-wallet option here. They want you to register for their online ordering solution powered by harimau2u.com

I do not mind using online ordering solutions as long as they are frictionless and do not require me to register for it.

The design of the Florida Western Cafe is interesting. There are mini booths so you can eat with a bit of privacy. Parking in this area can be nightmarish as street parking is limited. There is a multi storey parking nearby though few drivers like to park there. If you take the LRT, it is just a short walk from the train station.

This place is so new you can smell the paint.
