Hakka Cuisine, Chinese, Non-Halal
An evening dinner date with my besties. We chose Subang Jaya / Chinese / air-cond location. That’s how we ended up at Gao Ren Guan. Waaa really nice. We had only 4 dishes but all 4 very nice.
1. Shark fin (more crab than shark fin) soup

2. Thai style tofu

3. Sang Har Mien (pictured above)
4. Bitter gourd cooked with pickled cabbage

5. Dessert: Shanghai pancakes, mango jelly and longan honey sea coconut. Nice and refreshing (sayang no pictures.. We too busy chatting)
Been ages since makan nice meal like this. Sang Har Mien was tasty. Good portion for 2 pax. It fed 4! Price tag at RM70+ not bad. We wanted to try the crab tung fun, sadly no crab yesterday. This, we will return for sure. Overall very good ambiance and good food.
Our food bill at Gao Ren Guan came up to RM270. OK considering its Subang. Sure to come back.
