Basilico Restaurant Lunch
Italian, Non-Halal
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater William WL Loo wanted a change of palate from street food so indulged in a bit of Italian with lunch at Basilico Restaurant
Hong Kong, Polo Bun, Non-Halal
Touted Hong Kong's best pineapple bun & lai cha shop, Kam Wah Cafe Bute Street lived up to its reputation with polo/pineapple buns the size of a baby's head. They had a crunchy shell & were soft & chewy beneath, with a generous slab of butter.. the perfect naughty treat, thanks to a recco from a friend!
Kam Wah features a great range of noodles on its menu as well...and ours had entire pork ribs hidden beneath, how's that for wow factor?
Tea for two.. the famed lai cha at Kam Wah, served in those iconic cups. Carnation milk only, no sugar.
Take exit B2 at Prince Edward MTR and the shop is a 5-min walk down the road, across the junction on Bute Street.
