Chiefeater Luke Soon managed to get to Lucky Seng Restaurant to sample the roast chicken and char siew but the winner was the Choy Kiok

Japanese, Chicken Nanban, Non-Halal
Kanada-Ya TRX, originally from Penang, has now expanded to Kuala Lumpur with their inaugural KL store at TRX. Intrigued by their renowned truffle ramen, I opted instead for the Chicken Nanban Don during my recent visit.
The Chicken Nanban Don (RM28.90) was a satisfying choice. The chicken was tender and well-prepared, complemented nicely by the tangy-sweet nanban sauce. However, the highlight of the dish for me was the egg. With its firm texture and rich flavour, the egg added a delightful contrast to the dish.

The meal was reasonably priced at RM39.30, including a drink. Although I didn’t try their signature truffle ramen this time, I found the chicken nanban don to be a tasty and enjoyable alternative. The ambiance at Kanada-Ya TRX was inviting, and the service was prompt and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Take note the only e-wallet option that they have now is TnG. They accept credit cards and I think, cash as well.
