Basilico Restaurant Lunch
Italian, Non-Halal
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater William WL Loo wanted a change of palate from street food so indulged in a bit of Italian with lunch at Basilico Restaurant
Thai, Non-Halal
My usual order at Krua Thai Puchong is usually their spicy sausages but they were out of it that day. So I ordered the chicken roll for takeaway instead, priced at RM25 for a medium-sized portion. At first glance, the dish's appearance didn't seem particularly impressive, but the taste more than made up for it.
The chicken roll had a delightful, slightly tangy flavour that was both unique and appetizing. The taste was well-balanced, with a hint of tanginess that added a refreshing twist to the savoury profile of the dish.
What I appreciated most was the texture of the chicken roll. It had a satisfying bite, providing a pleasant chewiness that made each mouthful enjoyable. Despite its unassuming appearance, the chicken roll from Krua Thai Puchong delivered a fantastic culinary experience.
This will go well with a white wine or even a beer.
