We decided to celebrate Father’s Day dinner at Las Meninas, giving them a second chance after their commendable service recovery from our last visit. This time, they truly delivered a memorable dining experience.
We started with several tapas, and each dish was a delightful prelude to the main courses. The mussels were fresh and firm. The gambas al ajillo and hummus stood out, both bursting with flavour and expertly prepared. The gambas al ajillo, with its fresh garlic-infused shrimp, was particularly notable, as was the creamy and well-seasoned hummus. We used the bread that the dish came with to wipe up every bit of spicy oil in the gambas dish.

For the mains, we ordered both a chicken paella and a seafood paella. Both were outstanding, cooked to perfection with a rich blend of spices and generous portions of fresh ingredients.

The seafood paella, in particular, was a hit, with its perfectly cooked rice and flavorful assortment of seafood.

As it was Father’s Day, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary meal and chose the sea bass. The sea bass was exquisitely prepared, with a delicate, flavorful seasoning that highlighted the freshness of the fish.

Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. The staff ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable, adding to the overall positive impression.
The bill for 5 pax came up to just over RM600.
Las Meninas proved that they deserve a second visit, not only for their excellent food but also for their top-notch service. It’s a place I’d recommend for a special occasion or simply to enjoy a quality meal.
