My love for Roti Babi has been something inculcated in me since my young days visiting Boston Cafe in Penang. Mince meat sandwiched in a French Toast. Sadly, it is a dish that is not often found. POKC Cafe, when they were open in PJ, served it. Sadly they no longer operate. When I chanced upon Li Restaurant several years ago, I saw that they had a Pork Toast dish.

Theirs is a re-interpretation of it with the toast and mince meat fried to a crispy texture and topped with a chili mayo sauce. If you are a Roti Babi purist, this sounds wrong. But hey chill, live life a bit. Try new experiences. For RM15++, you get 4 pieces of crispy crunchy porky & bready goodness that you will savour. Eat it fast. Eat it slow. Eat it at Li. Take it away and eat it on the go. However you have it, it’s a savoury delight.
