today's lunch. went to the Macalister Signature Food Court (or MS foodcourt). long time i haven't been there. i saw some new stalls - particularly this 'fattchoy mee'. hmm... hardly see this type of mee (noodles) at food court, so decided to give it a try.
i love anything salted egg, so seeing this one has salted egg noodles, went for it. RM8.00 with two fried dumpling.
well i am very surprised at the taste. something new for me and very delicious. the noodles used, i don't know what kind of noodles... doesn't look like the normal yellow noodles like used in hokkien mee/curry mee. at first i thought it was instant noodles, which i don't like but luckily it was not instant noodles.
i like the salted egg taste very much. i'm surprised to find out there are some very tiny pcs of egg pieces (boiled) among the noodles too. usually if i try salted egg dish like with pasta, cannot see the tiny pcs of egg. this noodles has lots of the tiny pcs (one pic i showed the close up). the fried dumpling were good too.
