Roast Duck, Non-Halal
Recently, I ordered roast duck rice and noodles from Ming Kee Porridge Puchong via food delivery, priced at RM23.85. I had to do so because they don’t allow you to order any part of the duck by itself without rice nor noodles. This came on top of their boxes. A nice touch.

The roast duck was succulent with a slight gamey taste, which added a tasty flavour without being overpowering. It’s worth noting that the gamey taste can sometimes turn people off because it can be quite strong and earthy flavour that some find off-putting. Not me. I find that if that’s not present, there’s no point eating a roast duck then.

In addition to the roast duck, I also ordered the chilled spicy chicken (RM33.39), which is like a mala chicken. The dish was well-executed, with the mala spiciness dialled down to make it more palatable for a wider audience. The balance of flavours was just right, providing a pleasant kick without overwhelming the taste buds.

Ming Kee Porridge Puchong continues to be a dependable place for both dine-in and delivery. Their ability to maintain the quality and flavour of their dishes, even through delivery, is commendable. Their dine-in prices are clearly lower than the delivery prices.
