Lunch at The Meat
Steak
Chiefeater Luke Soon stopped by The Meat at Kerry Hotel Pudong to have a quiet lunch by himself

Thai, Vietnamese, Non-Halal
I’ve noticed that the Thai offerings in this city are pretty authentic. Flavours wise, spiciness wise, right up there with Bangkok. OBAO is somewhat special as it has both Thai and Vietnamese owners.
The Pho Bo (beef slices) and Pho Ga (chicken thigh) were good at 7/10.

The pad see yiew gai (flat rice noodles with chicken) was also good at 7/10.

OBAO is near Broadway and is good for bites before/after shows. Definitely a Thai speaking joint if you’re into authentic flavours.

OBAO weighs in at 7/10 and is definitely a gem for the local Thai community in NYC. In fact it’s right opposite Aqua Boil, another Thai helmed establishment!
