Dinner time at Papasan Canteen Cheras. I’ve come here a few times before, but I often saw a long queue and left without eating. Today, I had some free time, so I came early at around 6 pm, and there was no queue. I’ve actually eaten here twice before, but it was a while ago.
This place is well-known among Cheras residents, but for those who don’t know, it’s run by a group of young Chinese. The place is brightly lit, very clean and tidy. The service is also decent. Despite being run by youngsters, there’s a surprisingly wide variety of choices on the menu.
As for the taste, the items we ordered were generally above average, and the portions were quite generous. We might have overindulged a bit, but it was very satisfying. The total bill came to RM181. It was a satisfying meal.
That’s all for now!
