Street Food, Non-Halal
Tonight eat roadside foods for dinner at Peel Road Hawker Street. Long time no eat here jor becos this place parking susah. But tonight I mengidam want to eat the NL cina geh. Tim9zi around 9.30 saotong jor pulak. Bopian lor order other available foods to eat becos hungry jor mah. Housekmou?
Even tho no NL cina, the Ayam Dara berempah very sedap jugak. Fried jiken is very flavourful.
Satay ayam, kambing & lembu very good. Meat is not like chewing gum. Sos kacang not watery got bits of kacang is nice. Meat Byk Suckkulant.
CKT cukup rasa & ada wokhei. Dessert oso very sedap.
But the pork soup is mamatai jek & not worth the RM14 price.

Tonight’s dinner was at Peel Road Hawker Street, indulging in some roadside food. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here, mainly because the parking is a challenge. But tonight, I had a sudden craving for the Chinese-style nasi lemak. Unfortunately, by the time I got there around 9.30 pm, it was already sold out. Since I had no other option, I had to order other available dishes to satisfy my hunger.
Was it good?

Even though I couldn’t get my nasi lemak, the Spicy Fried Chicken was still a winner. The fried chicken was packed with flavour and definitely hit the spot.

The satay (chicken, lamb, and beef) was excellent too! The meat wasn’t tough or chewy like gum, and the peanut sauce was thick, with actual peanut bits. The meat was super succulent. Really enjoyable.

The Char Kway Teow was on point – full of flavour with a strong “wok hei” that’s just the way I like it.

Even the desserts were pretty tasty.

But, I have to say, the pork soup was a letdown. For RM14, it really wasn’t worth it.
