Big Breakfast
Can you still get a proper café-style big breakfast with coffee for under RM15? At Wong Zhi Cafe Puchong, the answer is yes. With café prices steadily climbing over the past few years, I wasn’t expecting much when I saw the price of their Big Breakfast Set. At RM14.90, it includes the meal together with a hot coffee, making it one of the better-value breakfast sets I’ve come across recently.
The plate comes with two sunny-side-up eggs, three sausages, a crispy hash brown, baked beans, coleslaw and a simple green salad. It isn’t trying to reinvent the big breakfast, but it delivers a meal that satisfies.

The eggs were nicely cooked with runny yolks, while the hash brown was crisp and golden. The sausages were fairly standard but worked well with the rest of the breakfast, and the fresh salad helped balance what would otherwise have been quite a heavy plate.

You have a choice of options on the beverage and I chose their signature coffee with the which I have always liked.
Jen ordered their Set A (RM9.90), which came with toast, half-boiled eggs and Hainan tea. Together, both breakfasts came to just RM26.30 after tax.
That’s less than what we often spend for a single breakfast at many cafés these days.
If you’re looking for an affordable breakfast that offers generous portions without trying to be overly fancy, Wong Zhi Cafe Puchong is well worth considering.
Big Breakfast Set C (with coffee) – RM14.90
Set A (Toast + Half-boiled Eggs + Hainan Tea) – RM9.90
Subtotal – RM24.80

Rounding Adjustment – RM0.02
Total – RM26.30
Average Spend – RM13.15 per person

This is where Wong Zhi Cafe shines. RM14.90 for a complete big breakfast with coffee is excellent value in today’s café scene, and the portions are generous enough to leave most people satisfied.
